As a partner with the firm, Nick heads the campaign consulting division at Loring, Sternberg & Associates, specializing in advising on a wide array of capital projects for clients across the country.
Nick holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in public affairs from Indiana University and is pursuing his Ph.D. in organizational leadership and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Drawing on his diverse experience work, Nick has navigated clients through a complex web of potential funding options and creative solutions such as historic tax credits and bond funding. Clients note Nick’s commitment to meeting clients where they are and helping them achieve campaign success while improving their planning, organizational health, and fundraising at the same time.
Before joining LSA, Nick led fundraising efforts at Damar Services, directing their most successful campaign that secured a landmark $3.25 million donation, the largest in Damar’s history. He also handled governmental relations as a registered lobbyist, advocating for Damar at state and Federal levels.
Nick also worked in constituent correspondence for Indiana’s Governor, Frank O’Bannon, and served as Indiana’s first state director for Best Buddies securing funding and testifying on disability issues before Indiana State Legislative Commissions.
Beyond his professional work, Nick actively contributes to the community. He chaired the Perry Township Education Foundation, sat on the board of the Autism Society of Indiana, and volunteered with the United Way of Central Indiana.
